BREAKING: Hamas has taken " prisoners of warfare and hostages," Israel protection Forces spokesperson says

 Hamas has taken “hostages and prisoners of war,” the Israel defense Forces spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari, said.

“There are hostages and prisoners of war that Hamas took. There also are deaths amongst IDF infantrymen. We don't have an exact variety but - we're at conflict,” he said.

High Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel is "at battle" after Gaza militants released a marvel attack Saturday, firing thousands of rockets and coming into Israel by land, sea and air the use of paragliders. At least 40 human beings have died and nearly 800 are wounded in Israel, officials said.

In Gaza, at least 198 Palestinians had been killed Saturday, with 1,610 injured, the Palestinian fitness ministry said. Israel launched air strikes on Gaza in reaction to the assault, as Netanyahu vowed to "precise a big price from the enemy."

The Israel protection Forces said its troops are fighting in at the least a half of-dozen places. A few citizens in Israel said militants were attempting to break into their homes. Hamas claimed to have captured numerous Israeli infantrymen near the border.
